NANMMA Supports Kerala Muslim Students Association in Canada for Helping Students, Impacted By COVID-19

Assalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

We hope all of you are staying safe and keeping the spirit high.

The current situation due to the COVID-19 has impacted all of us, and many international students from our community in Canada are in dire need. With the current lockdown and closure of stores, many of them are without a job and struggling to meet their basic needs.

The government has announced emergency financial aids for its people, even for those who are not eligible for employment insurance. However, there is no support for the international students facing hardships due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Malayalee Muslim student organization in Canada (TLM) is conducting a fundraising to help its fellow students and request all community members to contribute and support. They are in the process of identifying students who need immediate help. As the first phase, they are planning to provide them with groceries, medicine, and hygiene supplies. Please open your hearts and support your fellow beings.

You can interact to your contributions via email at kmsacanada@gmail.com or reach out to one of the following:

May Allah protect us all, Aameen.

Jazak Allahu Kheiren
